CNTE Successfully Deploys 230kW/464kWh STAR-H Energy Storage Project in Estonia

May 12, 2026 By cntepower

Estonia — Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE), a global provider of integrated energy storage solutions invested by CATL, has successfully deployed a 230kW/464kWh commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Estonia, further strengthening its presence in the Baltic energy storage market.

Installed at a local industrial factory, the project utilizes CNTE’s liquid-cooled all-in-one energy storage system STAR-H, featuring two 115kW/232kWh units integrated to deliver reliable and intelligent energy support for industrial operations.

As manufacturers across Europe continue seeking greater energy resilience and grid flexibility, the Estonia ESS project is designed to provide stable backup power for factory operations while actively participating in local grid frequency regulation services. By supporting frequency balancing and improving energy responsiveness, the system helps enhance overall grid stability and operational reliability.

The deployment demonstrates the growing importance of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in enabling industrial facilities to better manage electricity usage, respond to grid fluctuations, and strengthen long-term energy security.

Powered by advanced liquid-cooling technology and intelligent energy management, the STAR-H system offers high safety standards, optimized thermal performance, and efficient operation under demanding industrial conditions. Its compact all-in-one design simplifies installation and maintenance while supporting scalable commercial and industrial applications.

A key component of the project’s successful implementation was the integration of EMS solutions provided by Soleron, which enabled seamless system management and participation in Estonia’s frequency regulation market. The collaboration highlights the value of localized partnerships in accelerating the adoption of flexible and smart energy infrastructure across the region.

“Estonia continues to play an important role in the Baltic region’s clean energy transition,” said CNTE. “We will continue working closely with local partners to deliver innovative ESS solutions that support industrial customers and contribute to a greener and more resilient energy future.”

As demand for industrial energy storage continues growing across Europe, CNTE remains committed to delivering high-performance ESS technologies that support decarbonization, grid modernization, and sustainable industrial development.
