STAR H-PLUS – High-Density Energy Storage for Global Utility Markets

The system achieves a breakthrough energy density of 83.6 kWh/m³ , allowing utilities to deploy more capacity within limited land footprints. In containerized form, STAR H-PLUS delivers up to 1778 kWh in a 40ft container , significantly improving spatial efficiency.
This high-density design directly supports grid-scale applications such as frequency regulation, peak shaving, renewable smoothing, and backup power supply . With support for up to 10 units in parallel (2.54 MWh per cluster) , the system offers flexible scalability for utility operators.
STAR H-PLUS also delivers exceptional response speed, with sub-200ms response time per unit , ensuring fast participation in ancillary service markets. It supports key grid services including aFRR, mFRR, and FCR , making it highly competitive in European and global energy markets.
Reliability is ensured through CATL battery cells with ≥10,000 cycles , combined with advanced liquid cooling technology that maintains stable thermal conditions even under extreme load variations.
For grid stability, STAR H-PLUS integrates STS-based seamless switching between grid and off-grid modes , ensuring uninterrupted power supply. This is critical for utilities managing renewable integration and grid instability.
With certifications in 45 countries , including major markets such as Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Southeast Asia, STAR H-PLUS is ready for global deployment.
