CNTE is proud to provide the ESS for the largest energy storage project in the Czech Republic


CNTE is proud to provide the ESS for the largest energy storage project in the Czech Republic – 37.95MW/41.7MWh installation using 11 CNTE STAR T-285 3450kW/3.793MWh liquid-cooled containers. The project is set to begin construction soon.

The project is primarily intended for grid frequency regulation, offering benefits such as stabilizing grid frequency, ensuring the safe operation of electrical equipment, improving power quality, optimizing energy management, and reducing electricity costs.

In terms of performance, Equipped with CATL LFP cells,the STAR T-285 supports 1P charging and discharging and is suitable for 1 to 4-hour system applications. Whether for short-term emergency power needs or long-duration energy storage and release scenarios, the system adapts perfectly. With an energy round-trip efficiency (RTE) exceeding 93%, energy losses during storage and release are minimal, significantly enhancing energy utilization and ensuring the project’s efficient operation.

Additionally, the STAR T-285 features an automated coolant replenishment system, ensuring stability and reliability during long-term operation while reducing maintenance workload and costs. Its intelligent temperature control system keeps the temperature difference within ≤4°C, maintaining uniform internal temperatures to prevent damage from localized overheating, thereby extending the equipment’s lifespan.

The STAR T-285 is designed as a 20-foot container compatible with global standards, providing excellent transport convenience for shipping and hoisting, which facilitates rapid and cost-effective deployment at the project site. The product also supports customizable configurations of 5 to 10 clusters, offering flexible adjustments to meet different energy storage needs.
