CNTE Delivers Integrated Energy Storage Solution for Slovenian Factory Amid Rising European Energy Costs
Slovenia — As European manufacturers continue facing rising electricity prices, grid instability, and increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions, energy storage is becoming a critical tool for industrial energy management.
Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE), a global energy storage provider invested by CATL, has successfully commissioned a 200kW/436kWh commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project for a factory in Slovenia, helping the customer optimize electricity consumption, improve operational stability, and strengthen long-term energy resilience.
The project utilizes CNTE’s integrated air-cooled STAR-Q energy storage cabinet. By combining intelligent peak shaving, load optimization, and flexible power scheduling, the system enables the factory to significantly reduce peak-demand electricity costs while improving the overall efficiency of onsite energy usage.

In addition to lowering operational expenses, the project provides the customer with a more stable and controllable power supply environment. The system supports seamless on-grid/off-grid switching with one-click operation, helping maintain critical production continuity during grid fluctuations or unexpected power interruptions — an increasingly important capability for European industrial facilities operating under volatile energy conditions.
Built with CATL battery cells, the solution incorporates a four-layer safety protection architecture, intelligent monitoring, and advanced thermal management technology to ensure long-term operational safety and stability. The all-in-one cabinet design also simplifies installation and deployment, reducing construction complexity and accelerating project delivery timelines for industrial users.

“The demand for smarter and more flexible industrial energy infrastructure is growing rapidly across Europe,” said a CNTE spokesperson. “This project demonstrates how energy storage can deliver not only sustainability benefits, but also direct economic value and stronger energy security for industrial customers.”
The Slovenia project further expands CNTE’s footprint in the European market, with additional projects currently under development across the region.
